7-Day Luxury Serengeti Great Migration Safari

You are met at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge, set within a working coffee plantation. Relax, enjoy the gardens and meet your guide for a safari briefing.

After breakfast you drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. Look for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo and the park's iconic baobab trees along the Tarangire River.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before heading to Elephant Springs for the night.

After an early breakfast, drive via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with views over the highlands, into the Serengeti. Game drive en route across the plains, with a picnic lunch along the way, arriving at Salinero Serengeti Lodge for the evening.

Spend the day searching for the Great Migration herds, along with lions, leopards, cheetahs and large crocodile and hippo populations in the rivers. Your guide positions you according to the herds' current movement. Transfer to Serengeti River Camp in the late afternoon.

Enjoy a morning game drive for a last look at the Serengeti, then drive up to the Ngorongoro highlands. Arrive at Ngorongoro Rim Lodge for sweeping views over the crater rim and a relaxed evening.

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning of game viewing: lions, hyenas, hippos, flamingos, elephants and the rare black rhino. Picnic lunch beside the hippo pool, then ascend and drive to Acacia Farm Lodge, set among coffee farms and gardens.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast, then drive back to Arusha for your drop off at the airport or your hotel, with lunch on the way if timing allows.
